GREENE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Greene County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a woman they say forced her way into the Catskill Inn and threatened a woman inside.
Deputies say Brittany Bryant, 23, of Catskill, kicked a hole through the door of the Inn, smashed out a front window and then forced her way in. They say a woman inside the Inn locked herself in a bathroom as Bryant entered the room.
Deputies say Bryant banged on the bathroom door and told the victim she was going to kill her. She was arrested a short time later and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and menacing.
Bryant is being held at Greene County Jail. Deputies say the motivation for the break in was due to the victim allegedly calling Child Protective Services on Bryant.
