MONTICELLO, N.Y. -- A Brooklyn man was arrested in Monticello and charged with two robberies.
Thomas Gallishaw, 18, is facing a number of charges stemming from the two incidents.
Police say they saw a man matching the description of a suspect in an armed robbery at Advance Auto Parts Monday evening. When police approached Gallishaw, he took off running. Once police tracked him down, they say they identified him as the person who robbed the Family Dollar on Broadway back on July 4th.
Gallishaw was arraigned and sent to the Sullivan County Jail on $100,000 bail. He's facing a number of charges, including felony robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and a variety of misdemeanors related to the robberies.
Police are also investigating whether Gallishaw is connected with several other robberies in the area.
