VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. -- The identity of the fall victim at Thacher Park on Friday has been released.

According park officers, Ronald Czajkowski, 44, was found on Indian Ladder Trail. They said he fell from a cliff near a parking lot after he drove around a barrier.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said Czajkowski appeared to be rock climbing, even though it is illegal in the park. Officials at the scene believed Czajkowski fell as far as 200 feet.
